Pros: + Pretty cheap!... Well, cheaper than the other repellants out there.+ Comes in a pack of 20!!+ It actually works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!+ Need I say more?!
Cons: - Each packet comes in 2 pieces, so if you want to use one, the other one is opened since it's connected.- Don't forget to scratch it to activate it!!!! (like scratch and sniff type of thing)- Has a smell, but it doesn't bother me... maybe for other people it may be strange.- Maybe can be a tiny tiny tiny bit cheaper?
Other Thoughts: This item is great, I used it hoping it would work while i was in a place known for mosquitos, and sure enough, it worked wonders! I wouldn't say it worked 100%, but maybe 90%. Still, having 1 or 2 or 3 bites is better than being one whole swollen person walking around!
Bottomline: Get this if you know you will be going somewhere flooded with mosquitos! It worked very well for me, hopefully you will have the same result! Thanks DX!!!!
Pros: - Has a strong distinctive citric smell, which is much better to my nose compared to 'usual' insect repellents.- It's a twenty-pack, so you won't run out of the patches right away.- The patches are well packed, the smell won't wear out by itself unless opened.- Seems to work as promised.
Cons: - The glue leaves ugly marks on the surface you stick a patch.- There are two patches in the same pack, which means you have to use both at the same time (or leave one in the open package to wear out). I don't generally like single-packed products, but in this product it might serve a purpose.
Other Thoughts: We used these during our stay Vietnamese malaria-infested area. While we did get some stings, I'd still say this is quite good a product, since in our clothing we didn't fully obey the 1-meter rule mentioned in the product description. We also attached some patches around our bed (we also had a mosquito net), and we didn't see much, if any, mosquitos near the bed. All in all, it seemed to work better on keeping the mosquitos away from the furniture than from clothing.
Bottomline: A good backup product to go with your regular local store repellent.
Pros: This is some powerful product. Its like you got some anti mosquito army of lemon in your pocket. The smell is great and strong, get this if you like it!
Cons: The packaging was a bit weak, but this is the outside package, inside is a nice sealed plastic bag with the packets.
Other Thoughts: The lemon smell is really powerful, I am sure even a strong mosquito hungry army would fear you with this product!
Bottomline: Its a bit more expensive than other solutions, but this one is 100% safe. Also there is a duration of this product, so yeah its a strong short to medium term solution (depending on use).
Pros: It really works. The smell is not that strong if you are outdoor, but take it off when you sleep. Very easy to use, just peel and stick on anything. We went camping last weekend and stay out to fish all night and I didn't get a single bite.
Cons: It leaves residue. But if you use tape to tape onto your shirt then put on the mosquitoes patches, it won't leave any residue. The smell is pretty strong if you are confine in a small area (tent).
Other Thoughts: It comes in 2 per patch. I put one on my sleeve to protect my top part of my body and one on my shoe for my lower part of my body.
Bottomline: Great product. Pretty cheap. It smell pretty good too. I will definitely buy more if I need it.
